Sam Nurding speaks to Grant Rumley, a senior fellow at the Washington Institute, where he specialises in military and security affairs in the Middle East. Grant has recently served in both the Trump and Biden administrations as an advisor for Middle East Policy in the Pentagon. They discuss the US view of the Ukraine-Russia war, implications of the war on the Middle East, the possible removal of the IRGC as a terrorist organisation, the status of JCPOA negotiations and the future of US presence in the region.
